Witch Apprentice

This is my entry for the School of Games Moodboard Challenge. I've been working on this for a big chunk of March and am pretty happy with the results.

The challenge was about creating a Magic Apprentice. I figured that any apprentice would of course have to have a teacher, so I chose to depict her as well. For years, I've had this idea of a wise old bear forest witch teaching a young human apprentice and was glad for the push to finally realize this idea. (But I'm sorry I didn't get to show her magic wand, which looks like a honey dipper.) The SOG moodboard (shown at bottom) included a lot of words which I made a key part of my concept, including "light/dark academia," "worried," "nervous," and "clumsy."
