Here's the Thing...

I started drawing a whole bunch of Ben Grimm sketches last month and took a couple of them to completion. I was trying my hand at both a more traditional classic look for him as well as fooling around with his proportions a bit in the second picture. I also wanted to try out a uniform (if you consider shorts and nothing else a uniform) that felt more like cargo shorts, as they would be appropriate to carry around some of Mr. Fantastic's gizmos and they just seemed to fit Ben, who has the most dad-boddiest bod in the Marvel Universe.
